Al-Taqwa University Signs MOU with Geeta University, India

On December 13, 2024, Al-Taqwa University took a significant step towards expanding its global academic network by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Geeta University, India. The MOU was signed by Dr. Sayed Abdul Moiz (Member of External Relations Committee and the Dean of Economics Faculty), representing Al-Taqwa University, and Dr. Ajeet Kumar, Director of External Relations and Admissions at Geeta University. This partnership aims to promote collaboration in key areas such as: Student and Faculty Exchange Programs: Enabling mutual exchange to foster cross-cultural learning and academic growth. Joint Research Initiatives: Collaborating on research projects to enhance knowledge and innovation. Cultural Exchange: Organizing events and programs that promote cultural awareness and enrich student life at both institutions. Curriculum Development: Exploring opportunities for joint programs and courses to meet the evolving demands of global education and; Initiating a Joint Education Degree Model: Launching a dual degree education model between the two universities. “This partnership is a step forward in our commitment to providing students and faculty with greater international exposure, academic opportunities, and a more interconnected educational experience and we are excited about the future of this collaboration and the opportunities it will bring” said Dr. Sayed Abdul Moiz. ATIHE Signs an MoU with Nangarhar Cricket Academy

Al-Taqwa Institute of Higher Education and Nangarhar Cricket Academy recently signed a joint Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The signing of the MoU marks the beginning of a promising collaboration. By leveraging their respective strengths, both sides aim to enhance the cricketing experience of Al-Taqwa's cricket team and promote academic opportunities for aspiring cricketers. This partnership is expected to create a conducive environment for sports and education, fostering the growth of cricket and nurturing talents in the region. The MoU was signed between the University Level Sports Committee, led by the Vice-Chancellor of Student Affairs at Al-Taqwa Higher Education Institution, and Mr. Nimatullah Alam, the General Manager of Nangarhar Cricket Academy.  Under the MoU, Nangarhar Cricket Academy will provide its cricket stadium to the cricket team of ATIHE for hosting cricket matches. This collaboration will enable Al-Taqwa's cricket team to access high-quality playing facilities. Nangarhar Cricket Academy will extend its expertise to train the cricket team of Al-Taqwa Institute of Higher Education in various cricket-related techniques. As part of the agreement, Al-Taqwa Institute of Higher Education will offer diverse educational scholarships in undergraduate and short-term programs. This initiative seeks to support the holistic development of talented individuals associated with Nangarhar Cricket Academy, fostering educational opportunities alongside their sporting endeavors.

Al-Taqwa University and Maulana Malik Ibrahim University in Indonesia, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on February 10, 2022, to enhance the international engagement and capabilities of both Universities. The primary purpose of this MoU is to facilitate the initiation of collaborations between Al-Taqwa University and Maulana Malik Ibrahim University, to support research, review and measure data for the work performed, develop and exchange best practices, capacity building, and other forms of academic partnerships to tackle the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs) particularly SDG 4: Quality Education.   Both Universities can benefit from this MoU to increase the academic and research footprints on regional and global issues facing the UN SDGs. Also, our faculty and students can collaborate on research with international peers that can ultimately prepare them to contribute to their economies. There is always room for universities to adopt global best practices, so both institutions can mutually contribute to programs, contents, and processes. Based on this MoU, Al-Taqwa University and Maulana Malik Ibrahim University will review the progress of work under each program and collaborate in research, capacity building, and academic partnerships. "Working with the universities abroad will help us strengthen our international affairs and work on strategic partnerships that clearly show our genuine efforts towards internationalization and Partnership for the Goals that supports SDG 17," said Dr. Abdul Hameed Seerat, Al-Taqwa University's Vice Chancellor Academics. Al-Taqwa University and Rokhan Institute of Higher Education in Afghanistan, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on August 21, 2023, to enhance the localization and capabilities of both Universities. The primary purpose of this MoU is to facilitate the initiation of collaborations between Al-Taqwa University and Rokhan Institute of Higher Education, to support research, review and measure data for the work performed, develop and exchange best practices, capacity building, and other forms of academic partnerships to tackle the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs) particularly SDG 4: Quality Education.   Both Universities can benefit from this MoU to increase the academic and research footprints on local, regional and global issues facing the UN SDGs. Also, our faculty and students can collaborate on research with national peers that can ultimately prepare them to contribute to their economies.
