A one day seminar was conducted for the students of the Economics Faculty at Al-Taqwa University on March 16, 2025. During the seminar, the new guidelines for writing monographs, as outlined by the Ministry of Higher Education, were presented to the 8th-semester students of the faculty.
At the commencement of the seminar, the Head of the Department of Business Administration, Mr. Wajohullah Amin, highlighted that monograph writing represents a significant academic experience for students, which enhances their research capabilities. He further emphasized that, monograph writing is a form of academic research undertaken by students to fulfill the requirements of their academic program. It involves the investigation of a specific topic, aimed at enhancing students' analytical, research, and academic writing skills.
Subsequently, the seminar presenter, assistant professor Mr. Wasiqullah Hamdard, thoroughly explained the various aspects of monograph writing, ranging from its introduction to the references. He also provided clarification on the structural and conceptual framework of the new guidelines to ensure that students could effectively utilize them during their monograph writing and apply the corresponding principles.
At the conclusion of the seminar, students expressed their gratitude to both the department and the presenter for organizing such a practical session. They thanked the economics faculty for its valuable efforts in providing such sessions, that significantly support their learning journey at Al-Taqwa University.
