After World War II, the International Labor Organization (ILO), a UN agency dedicated to improving working conditions worldwide, adopted International Labor Day as an official event. International Labor Day, also known as Workers’ Day, falls on May 1st every year and is celebrated by people around the world. International Labor Day remains a vital platform to recognize the contributions of workers, advocate for their rights, and promote a fairer and more sustainable future of work for all.
The Faculty of Economics at Al-Taqwa Institute of Higher Education is pleased to celebrate International Labor Day to honor the nation's workers and their contributions to the well-being of the country. The session is open to public and welcome outsiders to attend the event with us.
