Inclusive Religious Address Delivered to ATIHE Students by Dawa Irshad and Islamic Culture Department Representative

A comprehensive devotional lecture was conducted jointly by the Ministry of Higher Education's Dawa Irshad and Islamic Culture Department and Al-Taqwa Institute of Higher Education in collaboration with Nangarhar University. The session was attended by a distinguished group including Mr. Ismail Saqib, the Head of Dawa Irshad and Islamic Culture Department from the Ministry of Higher Education, Mr. Naqeebullah Mutmain, Head of Dawa Irshad and Islamic Culture Department at Al-Taqwa Institute of Higher Education, a number of lecturers, and students from both faculties, aimed to provide students with a profound understanding of religious principles and practices.

The event commenced with the recitation of a few verses from the Holy Quran, followed by an enlightening address by Mr. Naqeebullah Mutmain. He emphasized the significance and advantages of acquiring a broad understanding of religious teachings, asserting that every Muslim should strive to grasp the principles of Sharia and actively transmit them to others. It was further emphasized that, alongside contemporary education, ample time should be dedicated to the study of Shariah and religious education, equipping ourselves and our families with a sound knowledge of Islamic principles.

Subsequently, Mr. Ismail Saqib delivered a comprehensive devotional lesson, delving into Islamic ethics, the importance of faithfulness, the significance of adhering to Islamic attire, the obedience to the Prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him), and the principles governing a righteous way of life. He offered guidance to the students on exhibiting good conduct, extending kindness towards others, nurturing love for one's homeland, and underscored the value of time management, among other pertinent topics.

This gathering served as a valuable platform for fostering a deeper understanding of religious teachings and reinforcing ethical principles among the students, empowering them to become well-rounded individuals who can contribute positively to both their communities and society at large.
