On December 16, 2025, a group of BBA Department students, under the leadership of Mr. Abdul Waris Shinwari (Lecturer at the Economics Faculty), participated in a valuable study tour to the Tawlid-e-Afghan EXPO held in Jalalabad City. The EXPO, running from December 16 to 18, 2025, is an important event that highlights Afghanistan's vibrant local businesses, products, and cultural heritage, offering a platform for both established companies and new startups to showcase their innovations and creativity.
The tour provided an exceptional learning experience for the students, offering them a chance to engage with a diverse array of Afghan enterprises, ranging from traditional industries like textiles and artisan crafts to modern startups in technology, agriculture, and services. The students explored how these businesses are not only contributing to Afghanistan’s economic development but also preserving the country's rich cultural heritage in the process.
The students engaged in meaningful discussions with exhibitors and entrepreneurs, learning about the challenges and opportunities within the Afghan market. These interactions gave the students valuable insights into the real-world dynamics of business.
The study tour was an excellent opportunity for students to gain a deeper understanding of Afghanistan's business landscape, while also experiencing its rich culture and entrepreneurial spirit. We extend our sincere gratitude to Mr. Abdul Waris Khan Shinwari for his leadership and guidance, ensuring that the students had a fruitful and educational experience throughout the tour.
