The Al-Taqwa Institute of Higher Education has established a Business Incubation Center under the auspices of the Business Administration Department of the Faculty of Economics. The center was inaugurated in the presence of dignitaries from the institute's leadership, representatives of public and private higher education institutions, universities from the eastern zone, national business leaders, and media representatives.
During the opening ceremony, Mr. Khushal Jawad, Chancellor of ATIHE, emphasized that the center would provide practical training to students of the Department of Trade Administration in business start-up and development. He further elaborated that the center would enhance students' professional abilities and skills, enabling them to organize and advance business affairs and perform their tasks efficiently.
Mr. Jawad also announced that the center would initiate a professional capacity-building program for small-scale entrepreneurs at the local level, promoting their abilities and skills. Additionally, ten students would be trained practically every six months on a rotation basis.
The Vice Academic Chancellor of Nangarhar University, Assistant Prof. Ehsanullah Nasih, praised ATIHE's innovative thinking and expressed gratitude towards its leadership for facilitating students with practical education alongside theoretical studies. Representatives from various organizations and institutions, including national entrepreneurs, Vice Academic Chancellors of Tabish University and Al-Falah University, and representatives of the media, also participated in the ceremony.
The event concluded with a brief seminar by Mr. Wasiqullah Hamdard, Head of the Department of Trade Administration of the Faculty of Economics at ATIHE. He provided the participants with an overview of the center's introduction, importance, goals, and plans.
