Legal Clinic

A legal clinic (also called law clinic) is a program organized through law faculty that allows students to receive legal experience and providing them with free legal services usually directed by clinical professors. The Legal Clinic of Al-Taqwa Institute of Higher Education provides legal assistance to those who are unable to afford a lawyer; who cannot write documents related to the case in a professional manner; who cannot speed up the activities of judicial and judicial bodies, to prevent the wastage of judges' time in cases, on the other hand, the legal clinic also causes an increase in the public's trust and confidence in the political system in the society.

In the legal clinic at Al-Taqwa Institute of Higher Education, students perform various tasks just as an attorney would do in the same job position, such as doing legal research, drafting briefs and other legal documents, and interviewing clients. Many jurisdictions even allow students to appear in court on behalf of clients, even in criminal defense. Participating in a legal clinic is a great way for students to gain hands-on experience before heading off into the job market.
