Job Description:

1.       Develop, support, and coordinate student clubs and societies as listed on Al-Taqwa Institute of Higher Education’s website.

2.       Help promote Al-Taqwa Institute of Higher Education’s brand through the support and promotion of impactful University events and strategic initiatives.

3.       Work closely with the Student Success Center team to advance the University’s mission.

4.       Help the students identify and participate in national and international competitions promoting their academic and professional excellence.

5.       Help plan, organize and monitor events, activities and programs that contribute to the holistic development of students.

6.       Assist students develop interesting, innovative and creative student involvement programs that promote recreation/sports as well as personal and educational development.

7.       Create and maintain environment for the engagement activities of academic and personal growth of students.

8.       Liaise with Communication Team of university to publicize and promote the events.

9.       Coordinate and deliver study-tours to major national and international employers and industry partners.

10.    Collaborate with the University’s Communication Department to prepare marketing and sponsorship packages for major student events, initiatives and clubs.

11.    Conduct alumni gathering events each semester.

12.    Maintain alumni registration and alumni network initiatives reflected in university website.

Career Services (Job Center’s Services)

1.       Maintain the database of jobseekers including students and alumni. 

2.       Design and help deliver career development seminars, workshops and professional development programs. 

3.       Support students to obtain internships, job opportunities and other career opportunities through active engagement with the employers. 

4.       Organize job-fair events for existing students and alumni (Physical/Virtual).

5.       Assist students in finding academic and/or vocational training programs, writing resumes, locating potential employers, and conducting mock interviews. 

6.       Lead, develop and manage various career development programs for existing students and alumni.

7.       Maintain professional and continued partnerships with private and public sector employers through meetings, agreements, special events and mutually beneficial initiatives.

Scholarships and Financial Assistance

1.       Lead and monitor the overall operation of the Scholarships and Financial Assistance Team.

Student Counseling

·         Lead and monitor the overall operation of the Student Counseling Office.

 

Job Requirements:

Qualifications:

2.       MBA. Ph.D. in the relevant field will be preferred.

3.       Must possess the necessary academic credentials.

4.       1 to 3 years relevant job experience.

5.       1-3 years university-level teaching experience.

6.       Years of teaching experience may be waived at the discretion of the university leadership as long as the candidate meets all other requirements necessary to hold the position.

Language(s) required
