We are thrilled to announce that Al-Taqwa University has joined the international community and has established the Global partnership with Peregrine Global Services. Peregrine Global Services is an international organization headquartered in United States of America. It provides Global services to universities in multiple disciplines i.e. Global Business Education Assessment etc. PEREGRINE’s assessment results and reports assist institutional decision makers such as administrators and faculty with planning and budgeting for academic programs. The assessment data essentially “provides a basis for implementing a process of continuous improvement relative to curricular, institutional, and strategic management goals based on the results using reliable and valid data produced from the assessment reports. In furtherance, student learning outcomes assessment and linkages with strategic planning can be achieved by tracking and managing the assessment results to inform corrective action and modifications as needed within the continuum of the feedback loop for continuous improvement. Through this platform, our students will take the outbound exam and they will get this assurance that what they have learned here in AIHE is relevant and comparable to the programs taught in Asia and throughout the world. It will also help the students understand that their knowledge and competencies are very good especially as compared to the world and Asia. The students will get this confidence that what they learn is of very good quality and they can see that the assessment exam results prove that. Additionally, the External Exam results will give us another level of proof that we are providing quality education to our students. For example, if we are asked, “How do you know the quality of the education you are delivering to your students?” In our response, we can share our global assessment exam results which show that our students’ knowledge was tested at the same level as the average of other regions in world. Al-Taqwa University Receives the Global Membership with SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT SOLUTION NETWORK (SDSN). Al-Taqwa University is Delighted to Announce Its Global Membership with Sustainable Development Solution Network (SDSN). Congratulations! The UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) has been operating since 2012 under the auspices of the UN Secretary-General. It is United Nations-supported initiative established to promote practical problem solving for sustainable development and raising the profile for sustainability in academic institutions around the world. SDSN mobilizes global scientific and technological expertise to promote practical solutions for sustainable development, including the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the Paris Climate Agreement. SDSN aims to accelerate joint learning and promote integrated approaches that address the interconnected economic, social, and environmental challenges confronting the world. It works closely with United Nations agencies, multilateral financing institutions, the private sector, and civil society. Much of SDSN’s work is led by National and Regional SDSNs, which mobilize knowledge institutions around the SDGs. Several Thematic Networks mobilize experts from around the world on the technical challenges of implementing the SDGs and the Paris Climate Agreement. SDSN has its offices in India, Paris and New York. Al-Taqwa University is the only Afghan institution in the eastern region of the country that has made sustainability one of its most fundamental priorities driven by research, practice, and strategic partnerships.
