The Convocation of Batch-16 Holds with a Special Ceremony!
Al-Taqwa Institute of Higher Education recently held a grand graduation ceremony to honor the accomplishments of three hundred and thirty-three (333) students from the faculties of Law, Political Science, and Economics of Batch-16. This momentous occasion was attended by a distinguished group of guests, including the institution's founder, Eng. Amanullah Aman, vice-founder, Numan Shinwari, chancellor of the institution, Khushal Jawad, Vice Academic Chancellor of Nangarhar University, Dr. Khalilur Rahman Rahmani, head of the Translation Department of the Directorate of Research, Compilation, and Translation of Ministry of Higher Education, academic staff members of Nangarhar University, various representatives of institutions in Nangarhar province, vice-chancellors, deans of faculties, lecturers, administrative staff of ATIHE, and family members of the graduate students.
The ceremony began with the recitation of the Holy Qur'an, followed by a welcome address from Mr. Khushal Jawad, the Chancellor of Al-Taqwa Institute of Higher Education. In his speech, Mr. Jawad, welcomed all the guests and gave all the participants an inclusive speech about the need and value of education. Mr. Jawad further explained that Al-Taqwa Institute of Higher Education has been serving its people and the dear country of Afghanistan for the past twelve years. So far, it has equipped 5,000 male and female students with quality higher education and provided them to serve society. He also committed to expanding and strengthening the service; He mentioned Al-Taqwa Institute of Higher Education as a reliable and strong scientific and research center of the country and said the institution is responsible from the religious, legal, and moral points of view, to present honest, talented and well-mannered individuals. Mr. Jawad said that for 12 years, ATIHE has tried to ensure national and international academic standards in this institution, which has gained special popularity at the country and regional level, that presented special and useful messages to the graduates, the current system officials, and the family members of the graduates.
Furthermore, the Vice-Chancellor of Nangarhar University, Mr. Ehsanullah Nasih, congratulated the graduating students and encouraged them to pursue higher education and contribute to the development of the country. He applauded ATIHE for conducting innovative practical programs and scientific activities in addition to theoretical education, and promised the graduate students further opportunities for higher education at the master's and doctorate levels in Nangarhar University. Mr. Nasih was also awarded a plaque by the founder of Al-Taqwa Institute of Higher Education for his recent scientific achievements at Nangarhar University.
Mr. Mangal Sherzad, the editor in charge of the Al-Taqwa Journal of Social Sciences, and Prof. of the master's program of the Faculty of Law and Political Science at Nangarhar University, also offered his
congratulations
to the students and their families. He urged the graduates to serve their country and make a positive impact in their respective fields.
A representative of the graduate students, Mohammad Arif Ulfat, spoke on behalf of his peers and expressed gratitude to the founder, academic, and administrative staff of ATIHE for providing them with quality education. He pledged to remain committed to serving the country and staying true to their profession.
During the ceremony, the leadership of Al-Taqwa Institute of Higher Education presented the second edition of the Al-Taqwa Journal of Social Sciences, which was newly printed, as a scientific gift to the guests. Additionally, all the graduate students of Batch-16 were given the oath of loyalty to Islam, the profession, and the country by Dr. Abdul Hameed Seerat, VC-Academic Chancellor, and the deans of both faculties of ATIHE. Finally, the students were awarded graduation certificates by the institution's leadership, professors, and academic figures.
Overall, the graduation ceremony was a tremendous success, and it is evident that ATIHE has made significant contributions to the higher education landscape in Afghanistan, equipping its students with the necessary skills and knowledge to make a meaningful impact in their communities and beyond.
