Al-Taqwa Institute Higher Education successfully passed the second phase of the quality assurance and accreditation.

The External Evaluation Of The Institution Was Carried Out By External Professional Evaluators (EPR) Of The Department Of Quality Assurance And Accreditation Of The Respected Ministry Of Higher Education From The November 28, 2022 To The December 7, 2022. By The Grace Of Almighty God, The Result Of The Evaluation Was Positive And Through The Obtaining Of (77.56) Score The Institute Got 22nd Position Among All 142 Governmental And Private Universities And Private Institutes Of Higher Education In The Country. On Behalf Of The Ministry Of Higher Education, Honorable Professor Dr. Khal Mohammad Ahmadzai, Was The Head Of The Jury, Honorable Professor Dr. Seyed Salim Kavian, And Honorable Professor Dr. Mohammad Daud Ahmadzai, Were Members Of The Jury, Honorable Professor Noor Agha Nasiri Was Co-Evaluator, And Mr. Hekmatullah Niazai, Was The Representative Of The Quality Assurance And Accreditation Department In This Stage Of The Quality Assurance And Accreditation. Prior To The Process Of The Evaluation, The Respected Chancellor Of (ATIHE), Mr. Khushal Javad, While Welcoming The Juries And Evaluators, Provided A Comprehensive Presentation About All Parts Of The Institute, Which Deserved The Special Attention Of The Evaluators. Henceforth, The Jury, Within The Framework Of Its Policy, Began To Evaluate All Departments Of The Institute Such As Faculties, Offices, Main And Sub-Committees, Library, Computer Lab, Legal Clinic, Health Center, Meeting Hall, Canteen...) Based On (11) Main Standards And (49) Secondary Standards Of The Second Stage Of Quality Assurance And Accreditation Where They Received The Documents, Evidence, And Descriptions By The Committed, Expert, Specialist And Experienced Team Of The (ATIHE). Furthermore, Be Contingent On The Meeting Agenda, The Mentioned Team Conducted Detailed Meetings And Interviews With The Leadership Of The Organization, Vice Presidents, Heads Of Faculties, Respected Teachers, Administrative Staff, Male And Female Students, And Then They Visited The Facilities And Services Of The Institute. Finally, The Above Evaluation Report Was Unanimously Accepted And Approved By The Department Of Quality Assurance And Accreditation Of The Ministry Of Higher Education (Quality Assurance And Accreditation Board) (25) On 24/12/2022 Where In That Meeting Of Al-Taqwa Institute Higher Education(ATIHE) Got The Promotion By The Declaration Of Obtaining (77.56) Grades.   The Leadership Of Al-Taqwa Institute Higher Education Appreciations The Department Of Quality Assurance And Accreditation Of The Ministry Of Higher Education, The Board Of Directors, And The Monitoring And Evaluation Teams For Their Endless Cooperation And Congratulating This Great Honor And Achievement To Respected Lecturers, All Other Staff, Respected Students, Graduates, And All Prized Compatriots.

Al-Taqwa Institute of Higher Education Celebrated Passing the Second Stage of Quality Assurance and Accreditation

In Commemoration Of The Achieving Success In The Second Phase Of Quality Assurance And Accreditation, Al-Taqwa Higher Education Institution Honored And Praised Its Administrative Staff, Lecturers, And All The Other Crews During A Wonderful Ceremony. The Program Was Started With The Recitation Of A Few Verses Of The Holy Quran And Then It Is Followed By The Comprehensive Speech Of Mr. Khushal Jawad, The Chancellor Of (ATIHE). He Appreciated The Hard Work Of All His Colleagues And Said, “This Great Achievement Is The Direct Result Of Our Collaboration And Coordination With Each Other.” Mr. Jawad Also Gave Inclusive Detail About The Challenges And Opportunities Of The Past Two Years And Assured Mr. Shakir Wahidi, The Head Of The Quality And Accreditation Department Of The Ministry Of Higher Education, That We Are Going To Be A Candidate For The Third(3rd) Phase Of The Quality Assurance And Accreditation Process. Mr. Ustad Shakir Wahidi, Head Of The Quality Assurance And Accreditation Department Of The Ministry Of Higher Education, Appreciated The Hardworking And Improvements Of The Institute, Provided All The Academic And Administrative Staff With Necessary Recommendations For Further Development And Betterment, And He Also Assured All Sorts Of Support From The Ministry Of Higher Education.   Likewise, Mr. Abdul Hameed Seerat, Vice Academic Chancellor Of (ATIHE), Provided The Participants With A General Report Of The Evaluation And Result Of The Second Process Of Quality Assurance And Accreditation, Gave Necessary Instructions To All The Staff And Faculty About Their Strengths And Improving The Points, And Presented A Comprehensive Plan For The Preparation For The Third Phase. At The Concluding Parts Of The Event, The First, Second, And Third Position Holders Were Privileged With Different Rewards, Commendations, And Cash Prizes While The Others Were Flattered With Certificates Of Appreciation Prepared By The Institution. Finally, The Celebration Ended With A Holy Prayer.

Al-Taqwa Cricket Club Holds Intra-University Friendly Cricket Match

Al-Taqwa's Cricket Club organized a friendly cricket match between the cricket teams of the Faculties of Law and Political Science and Economics. The match was held to provide an opportunity for the students to showcase their cricketing skills and foster a healthy competitive spirit. The Faculty of Economics won the toss and chose to bowl first. The Faculty of Law and Political Science started batting and set a target of 116 runs with a loss of 7 wickets in 10 overs in the first innings. The batsmen of the Faculty of Law and Political Science displayed exceptional batting skills, and their efforts resulted in a competitive target for the opposing team. In the second innings, the cricket team of the Faculty of Economics took the field to chase the target set by the Faculty of Law and Political Science. The team scored 113 runs in 10 overs with the loss of 8 wickets. Despite their best efforts, the Faculty of Economics failed to surpass the target set by the Faculty of Law and Political Science, resulting in their defeat. The cricket team of the Faculty of Law and Political Science emerged victorious with a margin of three runs. The match showcased the remarkable talents of some of the students, and as a result, the selection committee has identified the best players for the university-level team for the upcoming matches. The committee will evaluate the performance of the students and select the most deserving candidates to represent the university in future cricket tournaments. The friendly cricket match was a great success for the Cricket Club of Al-Taqwa Institute of Higher Education. The club organized and executed the match with great efficiency and professionalism. The teams displayed exceptional cricketing skills and sportsmanship throughout the match. The club plans to conduct more matches and provide training to the students to prepare them for the upcoming tournaments among university students in Nangarhar Province. The event proved to be an excellent opportunity for students to showcase their talents and foster a competitive spirit among them.

The Convocation of Batch-16 Holds with a Special Ceremony!

Al-Taqwa Institute of Higher Education recently held a grand graduation ceremony to honor the accomplishments of three hundred and thirty-three (333) students from the faculties of Law, Political Science, and Economics of Batch-16. This momentous occasion was attended by a distinguished group of guests, including the institution's founder, Eng. Amanullah Aman, vice-founder, Numan Shinwari, chancellor of the institution, Khushal Jawad, Vice Academic Chancellor of Nangarhar University, Dr. Khalilur Rahman Rahmani, head of the Translation Department of the Directorate of Research, Compilation, and Translation of Ministry of Higher Education, academic staff members of Nangarhar University, various representatives of institutions in Nangarhar province, vice-chancellors, deans of faculties, lecturers, administrative staff of ATIHE, and family members of the graduate students. The ceremony began with the recitation of the Holy Qur'an, followed by a welcome address from Mr. Khushal Jawad, the Chancellor of Al-Taqwa Institute of Higher Education. In his speech, Mr. Jawad, welcomed all the guests and gave all the participants an inclusive speech about the need and value of education. Mr. Jawad further explained that Al-Taqwa Institute of Higher Education has been serving its people and the dear country of Afghanistan for the past twelve years. So far, it has equipped 5,000 male and female students with quality higher education and provided them to serve society. He also committed to expanding and strengthening the service; He mentioned Al-Taqwa Institute of Higher Education as a reliable and strong scientific and research center of the country and said the institution is responsible from the religious, legal, and moral points of view, to present honest, talented and well-mannered individuals. Mr. Jawad said that for 12 years, ATIHE has tried to ensure national and international academic standards in this institution, which has gained special popularity at the country and regional level, that presented special and useful messages to the graduates, the current system officials, and the family members of the graduates. Furthermore, the Vice-Chancellor of Nangarhar University, Mr. Ehsanullah Nasih, congratulated the graduating students and encouraged them to pursue higher education and contribute to the development of the country. He applauded ATIHE for conducting innovative practical programs and scientific activities in addition to theoretical education, and promised the graduate students further opportunities for higher education at the master's and doctorate levels in Nangarhar University. Mr. Nasih was also awarded a plaque by the founder of Al-Taqwa Institute of Higher Education for his recent scientific achievements at Nangarhar University. Mr. Mangal Sherzad, the editor in charge of the Al-Taqwa Journal of Social Sciences, and Prof. of the master's program of the Faculty of Law and Political Science at Nangarhar University, also offered his congratulations   to the students and their families. He urged the graduates to serve their country and make a positive impact in their respective fields. A representative of the graduate students, Mohammad Arif Ulfat, spoke on behalf of his peers and expressed gratitude to the founder, academic, and administrative staff of ATIHE for providing them with quality education. He pledged to remain committed to serving the country and staying true to their profession. During the ceremony, the leadership of Al-Taqwa Institute of Higher Education presented the second edition of the Al-Taqwa Journal of Social Sciences, which was newly printed, as a scientific gift to the guests. Additionally, all the graduate students of Batch-16 were given the oath of loyalty to Islam, the profession, and the country by Dr. Abdul Hameed Seerat, VC-Academic Chancellor, and the deans of both faculties of ATIHE. Finally, the students were awarded graduation certificates by the institution's leadership, professors, and academic figures. Overall, the graduation ceremony was a tremendous success, and it is evident that ATIHE has made significant contributions to the higher education landscape in Afghanistan, equipping its students with the necessary skills and knowledge to make a meaningful impact in their communities and beyond.

MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING SIGNS BETWEEN AL-TAQWA HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTION AND THE AFGHANISTAN ACADEMY OF SCIENCES

MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING SIGNS BETWEEN AL-TAQWA HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTION AND THE AFGHANISTAN ACADEMY OF SCIENCES A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Al-Taqwa Higher Education Institution (ATIHE) and the Afghanistan Academy of Sciences, aiming to promote academic and research collaborations between the two institutions. During the event of signing, Mr. Jawad, the chancellor of ATIHE, acknowledged the Afghanistan Academy of Sciences as a prestigious academic and research institution in Afghanistan. He stated that the objectives of this MoU are to share experiences and capacities in the academic and research fields, to increase the capacity of lecturers in research issues, to facilitate practical education for ATIHE’s students in the Academy of Sciences, and to carry out research projects jointly. Mr. Jawad also assured the Academy of Sciences that ATIHE would fulfill the commitments stated in the agreement responsibly and on time. Mr. Jawad further wished that all the public and private universities and institutes including the Academy of Sciences, pay special attention to research. Moreover, Mawlawi Muhibullah Ismat, head of the foreign and cultural affairs of the Afghanistan Academy of Sciences, welcomed the collaboration with ATIHE and assured the leadership of ATIHE of any cooperation in scientific, research, and compilation fields. The MoU was signed by Dr. Abdul Hameed Seerat, Vice Academic Chancellor of ATIHE, and Maulwi Muhibullah Ismat, head of the Foreign and Cultural Affairs of the Afghanistan Academy of Sciences, in the presence of distinguished members of the leadership, including Mr. Khushal Jawad, the chancellor of ATIHE, Mr. Zahidullah Sidi, dean of the faculty of law and political science at ATIHE, the head of foreign and cultural affairs of the Afghanistan Academy of Sciences, Maulwi Muhibullah Ismat, the head of the office, Mr. Shaukatullah Abid, Mr. Muhammad Ali Tarzi, the head researcher of the Social Sciences Center, Mr. Ahmad Shah. Wardak, the head of the Center for Strategic and Regional Studies of the Middle East Institute, Abdul Sabor Mubarez, and other representatives from both institutions. Furthermore, during the ceremony, the leadership of ATIHE presented the first and second volumes of the Al-Taqwa Journal of Social Sciences to the leadership of the Academy of Sciences. This gesture highlights ATIHE's commitment to promoting academic research and scholarship. This MoU marks a significant milestone in the promotion of scientific and research cooperation between ATIHE and the Afghanistan Academy of Sciences.
